Example 1)
Here is a tutorial on how to create a basic assistant.
Example 2)
Here is a tutorial on how to create a data collector assistant suitable for a call campaign.
Let's start by selecting "Assistants" in the menu, clicking the plus button, and choosing a template.
When creating a new assistant, you can select from four primary templates, each tailored to different use cases.
Key Considerations:
- Determine the data you need from users: Identify the information your assistant should collect.
- Plan required integrations: Decide whether you need features like calendar synchronization or email confirmations.
Configuring Tools
Connecting to Your Calendar
If your assistant needs to access and manage your calendar, select the "Meeting Scheduler" template.
The Callberry platform supports calendar synchronization through the third-party service Cal.com, enabling seamless integration with Google Calendar and other popular calendar platforms.
Steps to Connect:
- Using Gmail:
- Log in to Cal.com with your Gmail account.
- The connection to your Google Calendar will be offered automatically at the start.
- Using a non-Gmail email address:
- After logging in, you will receive a confirmation email with a link.
- Click the link to complete your account setup on Cal.com.
- Connecting Calendars:
- Once your account is set up, you can link one of ten supported calendars, including Outlook, Apple Calendar, and Google Calendar.
This integration ensures that your assistant can schedule and manage meetings efficiently, tailored to your needs.
First, you need to create an event where you define all necessary details, such as the meeting duration, meeting name, available slots for booking, and other parameters.
Once you open the details of this event, copy the Event Type ID, which can be found in the URL after the slash (e.g., www.app.cal.com/event-types/your_event_id ).
Copy this ID and paste it into the “Event Type ID” field in Callberry.
The next piece of information you need is your API Key. You can find this in the settings on Cal.com.
In the bottom left corner, you will see the API Keys section, where you can create and name a new key.
Once the key is created, copy it and paste it into the “Calendar API Key” field in Callberry.
Next, you need to select your time zone to ensure the system correctly synchronizes event times and bookings.
Setting Up Email/SMS Templates
You can easily define templates for email or SMS communication.
Email Template Setup:
- Email Subject: Enter the subject line for your email.
- Email Body: Write the content of your email.
- From Email: Specify the sender’s email address.
- Signature: Add your email signature.
- Recipient Email: Leave this field blank if you plan to use the email address collected during the call.
SMS Template Setup:
The process for setting up SMS templates is the same as for emails.
Data Collection
The Data Collection tool allows you to define individual parameters one by one.
- Parameter Name: Specify the name of the parameter (e.g., "Satisfaction").
- Description: Add a brief explanation (e.g., "How satisfied is this user?").
This tool helps you systematically gather and organize information.
Assistant Details
In the Assistant Details tab, you can customize your assistant's settings.
- Assistant Name: Assign a name to your assistant.
- Time Zone: Set the time zone.
- Description: Add a brief description of the assistant's role.
- Phone Number: Select an imported phone number from the dropdown menu.
- Knowledge Base: Choose a relevant knowledge base or script for the assistant.
- Language: Determines the assistant’s language and the transcription language.
- Voice: Select the assistant’s preferred voice from the dropdown menu.
First Message:
Define the initial message your assistant uses to start a call. This message is static and does not rely on an AI model.
Advanced AI Settings
The Advanced AI Settings section offers additional customization options:
- AI Model Selection: Choose the AI model your assistant will use.
- Response Creativity: Adjust the assistant's level of creativity.
- Instruction Limits: Set the maximum number of instructions allowed per conversation.
- Background Sound: Add ambient noise (e.g., none or office ambiance).
- Fine-Tuning Options: Configure other settings to optimize the assistant's behavior.
These settings provide you with the flexibility to fine-tune your assistant for specific use cases.
